The Australian Under 20 Team leaves shortly for the World Championships and yet again Victoria is well represented – both on and off the ice.
The team has 8 Victorians:

- Andrew Fitzgerald (Alternate)
- Adrian Nash
- Jack Mc Coy (Blackhawks)
- Alan Moss
- Andrew Crowther
- Michael James
Brendan McDowell was also selected but due to illness will now be unable to travel and has withdrawn from the team. Bad luck Brendan but we know we will see you back in Australian colours soon.

The boys will be leaving Boxing Day for an extensive training camp in Toronto before embarking to Istanbul Turkey for the Div III World Championships. During their stay in Canada they will be playing exhibition games as follows:
- Sun Dec 27th at 19:30 against the Stayner Siskins Jnr C,
- Mon Dec 28th at 9:30 against Scarbrough AA,
- Tues Dec 29th at 19:30 against the Erin Shamrocks Jnr C
- Thurs Dec 30th at 9:30 against the Brampton AAA.
